Stores need more responsibility in plastic bag debate

PlasticGroceryBag+NoAs Philadelphia moves closer to banning stores from using plastic grocery bags, Temple Civil and Environmental Engineering Assistant Professor Bill Miller told KYW News Radio yesterday that stores need to take more responsibility in helping consumers reuse the bags, as well as give them more options such as using paper bags and cardboard boxes for carrying groceries and other items.
